Best Buzz! Privacy Policy

Best Buzz! is built on a simple principle: your nights are your business.

What we collect

Nothing.

Best Buzz! has no accounts, no sign-up, no servers, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. The developer has no way to see anything you enter into the app - and we like it that way.

Where your data lives

Everything you record - your profile, drinks, food, feelings, and morning-after answers - is stored in a local database on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to send it somewhere.

Ways data can leave your device (all controlled by you)

• Export: the app has an Export button that packages your data into a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there (AirDrop, Files, email) is entirely your choice.
• Device backups: like any app, Best Buzz!’s local data may be included in your device backups (iCloud or computer backups) if you have backups enabled. Those backups are managed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, and you control them in your device settings.

Notifications

Reminders and check-ins are scheduled locally on your device. There are no push notification servers and no notification data is sent anywhere.

Deleting your data

• Delete any individual night inside the app (swipe to delete), or
• Delete the app, which permanently erases everything it stored.

There is nothing to delete on our end, because nothing was ever sent to us.

Children

Best Buzz! deals with alcohol and is rated 17+. It is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under the legal drinking age in their location.

Not medical advice

Best Buzz! provides rough, population-level estimates for fun and self-awareness. It is not a medical device, provides no medical advice, and must never be used to judge fitness to drive or operate anything.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes how it handles data (for example, an optional cloud sync feature), this policy will be updated here before that version ships, with the effective date above revised.
